The show was preceded by a wine tasting from our terroirs, led by Karine Jouanin, a wine merchant in Saint Rémy De Provence (wines, champagnes, etc.), and a gourmet buffet prepared and served by Vincent Croce, an experienced chef from Marseille, who comes straight from the Bocuse culinary school (Cocotte Kitchen). About a hundred people had the chance to attend this event, which we are proud of!
"Deleyaman celebrates its 20 years of existence. The band led by American Aret Madilian continues to push the boundaries of creativity. Between post-punk and slowcore, Deleyaman redefines the codes of haunting and journeying music."
Always deeper, Deleyaman has long been a cult formation that, like Tuxedomoon, defies time and trends.
Connected to post-punk as well as the oldest music traditions, the band constantly explores a musical territory where English and French, the profane and the sacred, classical poetry, and impressionism converge. In 2019, Dead Can Dance covered Deleyaman's track "Autumn Sun" live and included it in their European tour setlist. The band collaborates with the iconic actress and director Fanny Ardant on film soundtracks (2017) and on stage (2021). Their new album "Sentinel" features contributions from Brendan Perry (Dead Can Dance) and Jules Maxwell (Dead Can Dance, Lisa Gerrard).
Never miss an emotion again.
